Karnataka PGCET 2023: Today, August 23, the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has postponed the Karnataka PGCET 2023 exam. This information is available on the official website at kea.kar.nic.in. The authority has issued a notice regarding the matter.

According to the official notice, the decision has been made to postpone the Karnataka PGCET exam 2023 after students informed the exam conducting authority that final semester degree exams will be conducted in September at a few universities and requested KEA to postpone the PGCET exam 2023.

The Karnataka Postgraduate Common Entrance Test 2023 was originally scheduled to be administered on September 9 and 10, 2023, but has been postponed.

“Students are informing KEA that in a few universities, final semester degree examinations occur in September and are requesting that the PGCET-2023 exam be postponed. “Due to the fact that some universities have not yet completed their final degree exams and in the interest of the students, the PGCET-2023 scheduled to be held on September 9 and 10, 2023 for admission to MBA / MCA / M.Tech. / M.Arch. courses has been postponed,” reads the official notice.

The entrance exam would be administered in two sessions, as planned by KEA. The merit/rank list will be compiled and disseminated based on candidates’ PGCET 2023 performance.

The KEA will announce the revised schedules for the examination in due time. Therefore, candidates who will be taking the exam are advised to frequently consult the authority’s official website.
