SSC CGL 2022 New Exam Pattern & Syllabus: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has revised the SSC CGL Exam Pattern and Syllabus for this year’s recruitment. The notification released by the commission contains the new exam pattern applicable for Tier 2 exam. Candidates can download SSC CGL 2022 notification from the official website ssc.nic.in.
The commission has not scheduled any change for Tier 1 exam. However, from this year there will be three papers in SSC CGL Tier 2 exam. Now, Phase 2 will have three papers, Aptitude, Statistics and Accounting.
Let us tell you, Paper 1 is going to be compulsory for all and will have questions from Mathematical Ability, Reasoning and General Intelligence, English Language, General Awareness and Computer Knowledge. There will also be a data entry speed test that everyone will have to attempt.
SSC CGL Exam Pattern
As per the official notification released by the commission, the final selection will be based on performance in Tier 1 and 2.
– SSC CGL Tier 1 is going to be a computer-based exam.
The exam will have 100 questions from four subjects, General Intelligence & Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, General English and General Awareness.
As per the marking scheme, 2 marks will be awarded for the correct answer and there will be a negative marking scheme of 0.50 marks for the wrong answer.
The questions asked in the exam will be asked in English and Hindi except for English Comprehension.
SSC CGL Tier-2 Exam- Know- Pattern
– SSC CGL Tier 2 will also be conducted in online mode.
There will be three papers in the exam, Paper 1, 2 and 3. Paper 1 will be compulsory for all the posts. Whereas Paper 2 is for the candidates who have applied for Junior Statistical Officer and Paper 3 is for the candidates who have opted for Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Account Officer.
As per the marking scheme, 3 marks will be awarded for each correct answer marked in the examination.
