Within two days, the university rescinded the notice, and the registrar’s office issued a new notice on Wednesday stating, “The order referenced in Memo No. Reg/0781 dated 14.07.2023 is rescinded with immediate effect. This has the sanction of the University’s competent authority.”
After the notice was issued by the authority on July 17, the University teachers’ association issued a press release in opposition to such an instruction.
