Maha: I-T officer poses as groom to raid on bizmen;Assets worth 390 Crore seized

On Thursday, the I-T Department nabbed a steel merchant and a real estate developer over tax evasion charges in Maharashtra’s Jalna district. The I-T sleuths went undercover and posed as a marriage party to enter the premises. Five teams of officials raided the residence and offices of the accused. Benami property and unaccounted cash worth whopping ₹320 crore was recovered in the raids.
