Maharashtra NEET PG counselling: Round-2 to start from Aug 30

Candidates who did not qualify for a seat in the first round of counselling can participate in the forthcoming second round via the official website.

Maharashtra NEET PG counselling: On their notice dated August 21, the State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET) of Maharashtra announced Round-2 of counselling for filling up the vacant seats in Maharashtra NEET-PG 2023 & NEET MDS-2023. It is expected to begin on August 30, 2023.

Round-3 of counselling (CAP-3), online registration, and application for NEET PG-2023 & NEET-MDS-2023 have also been announced and will commence on September 18 on the portal. The deadline is September 21 at 11:59 p.m.

Candidates who did not qualify for a seat in the first round of counselling can participate in the forthcoming second round via the official website.

Counselling for Round 2 will be available from September 2 to September 4, 2023, 11:59 p.m., per the notification’s published schedule.

The second list of candidates will be announced on September 6, 2023.

Candidates provisionally allotted seats in Round 2 of counselling must report to the allotted college and pay the required fees by demand draught (DD) or cheque between September 7 and September 9, 5:30 PM, at the allotted college.

Candidates who have already enrolled for Round-1 of counselling are not required to register for Round-2. Those who did not register for the first round of counselling must pay Rs. 3,000 to register for the second round.

Maharashtra NEET PG counselling Details

Under the following conditions, applicants can select preferences based on their deposit amount during registration.

In succeeding rounds, preferences made during CAP Round 1 will be invalidated.

Candidates must confirm their eligibility in accordance with the NEET PG 2023 and NEET MDS 2023 Information Brochure.

Once the status retention form has been submitted, it cannot be revoked; therefore, candidates must exercise caution.

Those who do not resign their CAP-1 seat by the 30th of August 2023 will be deemed CAP-2 members.

After 5:30 pm on September 18, 2023, no resignations will be accepted.

On Sundays and federal holidays, fee payments by check are permitted, but must be substituted with a demand draught on the following business day.
