Rashid Khan, a graduate of Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI), is presently employed as a Scientist SD at the ISRO Propulsion Unit in Tamil Nadu. Performed a significant part in the launch of ISRO’s Aditya-L1 solar mission. He actively participated in the PS2 and PS4 stage acceptance tests for the PSLV-C57 rocket.
Rashid also had a significant impact on ISRO’s Chandrayan-3 Moon mission, which merits mentioning. He was in charge of performing acceptance tests on the liquid propulsion system (L110 stage) and cryogenic propulsion system (C25 stage) propellant tanks for the LVM3-M4 rocket that would launch the Chandryaan-3 mission on July 14, 2023.
His upcoming duties will include design qualification for several rocket stages for ISRO’s upcoming missions, such as the Human Space Program (Gaganyaan Mission) etc.
