According to the FIR, the CBI had received information about a conspiracy by the National Testing Agency (NTA) to appear in NEET conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on Sunday at several centers in Delhi and Haryana to appear for the examination by other persons instead of genuine candidates. It is alleged that the conspiracy of fake candidates was to take huge amount and take part in the examination in place of genuine candidates. According to the CBI, the accused had taken the user ID and password from the candidates and also made necessary changes to get the preferred examination centre. Photos were also tampered with.
The agency has registered a case against Sushil Ranjan, Brijmohan Singh, Pappu, Umashankar Gupta, Nidhi, Krishna Shankar Yogi, Sunny Ranjan, Raghunandan, Jipu Lal, Hemendra and Bharat Singh.
