NEET UG Counseling 2022: NEET Counseling for 15% All India Quota

NEET UG 2022 counseling: After the NEET result, now the counseling round will start. NTA has informed the medical students about the result, cutoff, topper as well as NEET counseling process and 15% All India Quota and State Quota. Students who have qualified in the NEET 2022 exam will now have to participate in the counseling process for admission to medical courses like MBBS, BDS. A few days back, the National Medical Commission (NMC) had given permission for the renewal of medical colleges in view of the counselling.

NEET Counseling for 15% All India Quota

According to the latest notice of the NTA, the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Government of India, Medical Colleges of Delhi University, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha Indraprastha University, BHU Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University, ESIC Medical College including Deemed University, Central University. Counseling will be conducted on 15% All India Quota seats.

The NTA further said, “Candidates will have to apply for 15% All India Quota seats as per the instructions of DGHS and NEET counseling will be stopped after the seats are exhausted. The details and schedule of NEET counseling will be available on the websites of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and the State Directorates of Medical Education. NTA has advised students to visit the official website of MCC at mcc.nic.in for updates on the process and schedule of NEET counseling.

NEET 2022 counseling for state quota

“Candidates can apply in their domicile states for state quota and other seats falling within the ambit of the states,” the NTA said. The counseling authority of the respective states will conduct the counseling on the state quota seats as per their rules. The counseling of private medical colleges will also be conducted by the counseling authority of the same state.

When will MCC NEET 2022 counseling start?

According to the latest notice of NMC, NEET UG counseling will be conducted in the month of September-October. This information was given in the notice regarding renewal of medical colleges.

MCC will conduct the process of NEET UG counseling for admission to All India quota seats. The NEET counseling schedule will also be released on the official website of MCC NEET counseling at mcc.nic.in.

Candidates have to complete the MCC NEET registration process along with fee payment.
NEET UG counseling will release the result of MCC round 1 seat allotment after choice filling and locking.
Candidates have to report at the allotted medical or dental college.
They will also have the option of free entry or exit.
After this round 2 vacant seats will be announced.
Registration and fresh choice filling for NEET counseling round 2 will begin.
After this the round 2 seat allotment result will be released on mcc.nic.in.
NEET counseling will be stopped after the seats are filled.
