NEP-2020 3rd anniversary: IIT Jammu inks pacts with five premier Universities

These MOUs reflect the partnering institutions' shared vision of excellence in education and research, and they represent a significant milestone in advancing academic development and fostering a collaborative academic environment.

NEP-2020 3rd anniversary: NEP-2020 3rd anniversary: On the occasion of Akhil Bhartiya Shiksha Samagam (ABSS) 2023, which marked the third anniversary of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Jammu signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with five prestigious universities.

National Institute of Technology Agartala (NITA), National Institute of Technology Warangal (NITW), National Institute of Technology Patna (NITP), Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering & Technology (SLIET), and Mody University of Science and Technology (MUST) are among the prestigious universities participating in these partnerships.

Prof Manoj Singh Gaur, Director of IIT Jammu, and the Directors of the respective institutes, Prof S K Patra, Director of NITA; Prof B D Subudhi, Director of NITW; Prof Pradip Kumar Jain, NITP; Prof Mani Kant Paswan, Director of SLIET; and Prof Rajesh Mathur, Director of MUST, signed the agreements. The occasion marked a shared commitment to bolstering academic cooperation and advancing the frontiers of education and research.

The MoUs envisage a shared pool of faculty expertise, encouraging the reciprocal use of knowledge and academic resources by partner institutions. Promoting a culture of academic excellence and cross-disciplinary collaboration, faculty members from one institution will lend their expertise for teaching courses, conducting collaborative research, and submitting joint project proposals at the other institution.

These MOUs reflect the partnering institutions’ shared vision of excellence in education and research, and they represent a significant milestone in advancing academic development and fostering a collaborative academic environment. By joining forces, IIT Jammu and its esteemed partner universities will usher in a new era of academic exploration and innovation, inspiring future generations to pursue knowledge at greater heights.
