NTS-2023: The prestigious North Tech Symposium (NTS)-2023, which promotes collaboration between the Indian Army, academia, and industry, is set to make history at the picturesque Jagti Campus of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Jammu from September 11 to 13.
The IIT Jammu official continued, “This year’s edition will be unique as it makes its home in a civil establishment for the first time since its beginning 15 years ago.”
The conference, a joint endeavour with the Society of Indian Defence Manufacturers (SIDM) under the auspices of the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII), he added, “seeks to bridge the gap between the needs of the Indian Army and the capabilities of academia and industry.”

“The Armed Forces will stage a spectacular Military Equipment Display, providing the general public, industry stakeholders, and academia with an immersive and patriotic experience,” according to the press release.
The North Tech Symposium 2023 aims to be a memorable fusion of knowledge, innovation, and patriotism, with IIT Jammu serving as the gracious host and the Army, academia, and industry at their most cooperative. The purpose of the event is to strengthen India’s military capabilities and provide a model for collaborative efforts between the military, academia, and business.
