PM goes impromptu, ditches teleprompter; Over 80 minute extempore by Modi

PM Modi ditches teleprompter, speaks extempore for over 80 minutes. In the heartfelt address, the Prime Minister only used some paper notes. Displaying his oratory skills, PM delivered a passionate & impromptu speech from the ramparts of Red Fort. He broke the practice after it had come under some criticism at times due to technical glitches. In January, the PM had come under attack from the opposition after he had to restart his virtual address at the World Economic Forum’s Davos Agenda. In a two-minute interruption that the government termed a technical glitch, the PM was seen pausing before looking to his left, then plugging in his earphones & checking if he was audible. The incident gave opposition fodder to attack him. But this Independence Day though, PM Modi went old school without the teleprompter. Watch this report to know more.
