Prof Alan Wolf, a distinguished alumnus of Cooper Union University in the United States, interacted with students via webinar on Wednesday. He was met with enthusiastic participation from students of IIT Jammu and IIT Gandhinagar, who asked detailed questions about embodiments and prototypes.

“With an unwavering commitment to fostering innovation and cultivating a culture of intellectual property protection, Professor Wolf shared his invaluable expertise and experience in navigating the complexities of patent applications.”

“The informative session gave the students a thorough understanding of the patenting procedure, laying the groundwork for their future endeavours in the realm of technological innovation,” he said.

“Throughout the course of the event, participants actively engaged with Prof. Wolf, seeking clarifications on various aspects of patent applications.”

According to a spokesperson for IIT Jammu, the interactive session focused on the nuances of drafting patent claims, assuring patent eligibility, and developing effective patent strategies.

As the event at the Invention Factory nears its conclusion, the participants are working assiduously to submit Indian and U.S. patent applications.
