The first three places in the district are occupied by girls. Aanchal Jind BCM Senior Secondary School, Jamalpur Colony has topped in the district. Aanchal has secured 642 marks out of 650. On the other hand, Sahajpreet Kaur Moonlight Public School Hayden Bet has also secured 642 marks out of 650. He has secured seventh position in the state. Gurleen Kaur, Teja Singh Sutantar Memorial School, Shimlapuri has secured third position. He has secured 641 marks out of 650.

Topper wants to become doctor

Aanchal’s father is the owner of a grocery store. Aanchal’s dream is to become a doctor, she wants to specialize in medicine. She is already preparing for the medical entrance exam. Aanchal says that she believes in self study. If she has any problem in any subject, she takes extra class.

Gurleen Kaur, who got the second position in the district, wants to become a CA. Gurleen’s father works in a factory. Gurleen has already taken admission in commerce. Gurleen studies for 6 to 7 hours everyday. Gurleen is aiming to get 95 per cent marks in class 12th.
