According to an official statement, the Rajasthan government has approved Rs 36.56 crore to establish digital libraries in 344 residential schools across the state.

In light of the importance of digital learning in today’s scenario, Gehlot announced financial provision for digital libraries and other necessary facilities for classes 9 to 12 in residential educational institutes and selected schools under various departments, according to the statement.
This will result in the establishment of digital libraries with cutting-edge technology in various residential schools, multipurpose hostels, and Kasturba Gandhi Schools run by the Tribal Area Development Department, Social Justice and Empowerment Department, Minority Affairs Department, and School Education Department, among others.
According to the statement, the government is making several decisions to promote information technology in education.
