Tuluve told, “As part of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’, Jai Tulunad published a book titled ‘Tulu Purpa’ comprising 111 Tulu poems written by 111 authors. The works are original and by emerging poets.”

Every language is a storehouse of wisdom and a tool for the search of knowledge Tulu language is considered as one of the five major southern languages so there is no exception here, the CM said in his letter. “I firmly believe that such a rich language as Tulu must be given its rightful place. I am sure that the wishes and desires of the people of Tuli will be recognized and necessary measures will be taken from all quarters in the coming days, said Sarma.
