Safe City Project: The Safe City Project, which aims to ensure the safety of women, children, the old, and the disabled, is being worked on by the government of Uttar Pradesh. Coordinating this will be 12 departments, including the Department of Justice, Urban Development, Transportation, Women and Child Development, Information and Public Relations, and Education. According to reports, the state administration has also set a timeframe for finishing the project’s first phase of development.

There are rumours that the Uttar Pradesh Board will introduce 30 marks in projects as part of the 9th and 10th grade curriculum. According to reports, starting with the academic year 2023–2024, this project work will be a component of the Social Science curriculum. According to sources, a step towards incorporating the Safe City Project in Uttar Pradesh is to educate students about not just their own safety but also the safety of children, women, the elderly, and persons with disabilities. Students will need to concentrate on these elements in their work as well.
