As of today, May 29, prospective candidates can submit their applications through the samsodisha.gov.in website. This application window is open until June 20, 2023.

The forthcoming academic year for Class 11 is scheduled to begin on July 29, 2023. The Directorate will use the Student Academic Management System (SAMS) for admissions in order to expedite the registration process and increase efficiency. SAMS will manage the admissions process for Class 11 courses in the Arts, Sciences, Commerce, Upashastri, and Vocational divisions. This comprehensive strategy will incorporate all Odisha Higher Secondary Schools (HSSs) affiliated with CHSE (O). In addition, 93 secondary schools will offer vocational courses as part of their admissions requirements.

Applicants must have passed the High School Certificate (HSC) Examination administered by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha, or its equivalent boards to be eligible. The admission application fee is set at Rs 200, with a reduced fee of Rs 100 for SC and ST candidates.

Additionally, the Directorate has provided a comprehensive schedule of admissions-related dates. To gain admission, candidates must guarantee timely compliance with these dates. The deadline for submitting the Common Application Form (CAF) online is 11:45 PM on June 20, 2023. The First Selection Merit List will be published and the Intimation Letter will be made available for download on June 28, 2023 at 11:45 a.m. Applicants selected in the first round may then report to their designated High Schools for admission between June 29 and July 5, 2023 at 6:00 p.m.

The Directorate will issue the Second Selection Merit List for Class 11 Admissions on July 13, 2023. By logging into their student accounts, students can view this list and obtain their Intimation Letter. The access deadline for the Merit List and Notification Letter is 3:00 p.m. on the same day.
The reporting and admission update procedure for those selected in the second round will take place from July 14 to July 17, 2023. During this time, selected candidates must report to their allocated Higher Secondary Schools (HSSs) to confirm their admission and complete the required documentation. The reporting process will conclude on July 17, 2023 at 6:00 p.m.
In addition to correcting any errors in the SAMS eSpace, Higher Secondary Schools will update the admission data of second selection applicants and make any necessary adjustments to the SAMS eSpace. This data update and error correction window will be available from July 14 to July 17, 2023, with a final deadline of 9:00 PM on the final day.

Candidates who opted for Slide-up requests but were not selected have until July 19, 2023 at 11 a.m. to activate their SPOT admission preferences. Choice Locking submissions for the remaining upper SPOT admission options will be accepted from July 19 through July 21, 2023, until 11:45 p.m.

The publication of the SPOT Selection and the download availability of the Intimation Letter in the Student Login will be accessible until July 26, 2023 at 11 a.m.
From 12 p.m. on July 26, 2023, to 6 p.m. on July 27, 2023, the reporting of First Selection applicants and admission upgrade at the Higher Secondary School (HSS) level will take place. The anxiously anticipated graduation of Class XI is finally scheduled for July 29, 2023.
