Harold Cox Cambridge Speaking Prize: On September 5, 2023, the University Debating and Literary Club of Aligarh Muslim University hosted the second round of the Cambridge Speaking Prize, a traditional debate competition that has a lengthy history.
Areeba Dilshad, a club member, explained the regulations to the participants at the outset.

Dr. Sadaf Fareed, president of the University Debating and Literary Club, welcomed the guests and emphasised the importance of the Harold Cox Cambridge Speaking Prize Debate Competition. She mentioned that the “Siddons Club,” which is now known as the University Debating and Literary Club, used to coordinate the same competition. She added that by hosting this debate competition, the society is reviving its history.
