Sitharaman reprimands collector at Telangana ration shop; KTR says ‘appalled’

Union finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman publicly scolded the collector of Kamareddy district Jitesh Patil after he failed to answer her question over Centre’s and the state’s share of rice in fair price shops. As the video went viral, Telangana minister KT Rama Rao said he was ‘appalled by the unruly conduct’ of the Union Minister. The Finance Minister was interacting with beneficiaries at a fair price shop when the incident took place.
