SSC CGL 2023: Tier 2 service preference submission extended till Nov 23

It has been reported that some candidates' choices that they exercised up until November 20, 2023, at 12:00 PM

SSC CGL 2023: For the SSC CGL recruitment exam in 2023, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has extended the deadline for submitting service preference forms.

Those that met the requirements for tier 1 had until tomorrow, November 21, 2023, to indicate on the official website which posts or services they preferred.

The SSC announced in their notice that “Candidates who took the Tier-II exam must submit their Option-cum-Preference(s) for the post(s)/department(s) before the final results are announced.”Consequently, it is recommended that all candidates who have appeared in Tier-II submit their Option-cum-Preference for the post(s)/department(s) for CGLE-2023 using their individual “CANDIDATE LOGIN” on the SSC (Headquarters) website, which is https://ssc.nic.in.”

Due to the technological issues that candidates were having with submitting their preferences, the authority has now extended the deadline for submitting the forms.

It has been reported that some candidates’ choices that they exercised up until November 20, 2023, at 12:00 PM, may contain some errors due to a technological fault. The commission wrote in their notification, “Therefore, such candidates are advised to check the preferences they filled out and revise the same, if required.”

As of right now, the window is open till November 23, 11:59 PM.

Candidates will not be included in the Final Result for any post if they do not submit their post preference(s) on the Commission’s website within the allotted period. These candidates will not have another chance to indicate their choices, and they are the only ones accountable for this omission.
