Student ends life ‘for not living up to parents’ expectations’ in Rajasthan's Kota

Rajasthan: A girl student has committed suicide for not living up to expectations in NEET entrance exam in Kota. The police rushed to the notice and sent the body for post mortem.

Circle Inspector, Mahaveer Nagar Police Station, Kota, Pawan Meena said; a suicide note from the student’s room in which she has sought apology from the parents for not living up to their expectations and could not secure desired results in studies.

The student could not crack NEET last year and was again preparing for NEET this year.

The girl, a student living in Kota’s Santohi Nagar area, hung up with a fan in her room. She was preparing for medical from a coaching centre in Kota.

In Rajasthan, another death from coronavirus infection was reported on Saturday. Meanwhile, the number of people infected with the deadly virus in the state increased to 2,083 after 49 new cases were reported. Additional Chief Secretary (Health) Rohit Kumar Singh said that a 65-year-old woman from Ramganj area of Jaipur passed away on Saturday.
