TAT-S Mains exam: 74% of applicants fail to achieve the minimal qualifying score

The results indicated that 44,111 candidates, or 74.2% of the total 59,448 test takers, failed to achieve the minimum passing score of 120 out of 200.

TAT-S Mains exam: On Wednesday, the results of the Teachers’ Aptitude Test – Secondary (TAT-S) Mains were released by the state examination board. The results indicated that 44,111 candidates, or 74.2% of the total 59,448 test takers, failed to achieve the minimum passing score of 120 out of 200.

Previously, the minimum qualifying score for the TAT-S examination was 50%; however, under the new two-part examination structure, it is now 60%.
The test was conducted at various locations on June 25. Examinees were those who had passed the TAT-S Preliminary Examination.

Gujarat TAT-S Prelims Results 2023 out, 41% of 1.45 lakh candidates qualify

Results from the TAT-S Prelims revealed that 41%, or 60,567 candidates, qualified by scoring 70 or more out of 200.

TAT-S is administered to those wishing to become secondary school instructors. TAT-S Preliminaries were administered on June 4.

TAT-S Mains exam:  59,553 out of a total of 60,573 eligible candidates sat the TAT-S Mains exam.

Results indicated that 39.57 percent, or 23,497 candidates, scored between 120 and 129 points, 25.24 percent, or 15,005 candidates, scored between 130 and 139 points, and 9.48 percent, or 5,639 candidates, scored 140 out of 200.
Requiring candidates to pass two tests, TAT-Prelims and TAT-Mains, in order to qualify as a teacher in 9th-through-12th-grade institutions is a recent change made by the state government.

Candidates who desire to recheck their answer sheets may submit an application between August 8 and August 22.
