Tenali Urban becomes the first Mandal in Andhra Pradesh to achieve GER 100: With the assistance of the village and ward secretariats, the school education department in Vijayawada has undertaken the mission of attaining a GER of 100 percent, meaning that every child born between 1 September 2005 and 31 August 2018 is enrolled with the school education department.

This initiative began in the first week of July, and to date, 59,602 volunteers have earned the 100% GER emblem, signifying that all children of the specified age group are enrolled in school. 464 village secretariats have attained the status of 100% GER, with Nandayal’s 120 secretariats being the most.
“Tenali Urban Mandal, which has 47 secretariats, is the first Mandal in the state to achieve 100% GER status. Volunteers and village and ward secretariat staff have begun to master the technique of encouraging and nudging out-of-school children in the correct direction, according to Principal Secretary of Education Praveen Prakash.
One mandal will become ten mandals and ten mandals will become one hundred mandals within two weeks, and the day is not far off when all 679 mandals will be awarded the 100% GER insignia. Praveen Prakash asserted that we expect to achieve 100 percent GER to make Andhra Pradesh the first state in the nation to achieve 100 percent GER.
