New Education Policy: Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said on Saturday that there is a need to change the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and there is a need to “connect some points” in the scheme. Speaking at an event organized at Delhi Teachers University here, Sisodia said policies related to education should be looked at from every angle and should include all facts including teacher training.
He said, “NEP 2020 requires changes. Some points need to be added to this policy. It is also the vision of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal that policies related to education should be looked at from every angle.” The “Connecting the Dots” program was organized to discuss the National Education Policy 2020.
Sisodia claimed that NEP 2020 has many flaws and cannot be implemented immediately. “If we decide to implement NEP in Delhi, who will teach the students of classes 9 to 12? What will be the qualification of these teachers? There has been no discussion about this yet. There are many flaws in this policy.
