“The student was found hanging, we can’t say anything more,” Cephas Kalyan, Superintendent of Police, Tiruvallur, told NDTV. He said that the state police’s CB-CID division had taken up the investigation of the matter.
The deceased student was a native of Tiruttani, a Tamil Nadu town. To avoid any potential law and order issues, security has also been deployed in her village.
This is the second case in two weeks when a class 12 student in Tamil Nadu was discovered dead at school.
