Top University College Ranking NIRF 2022: The results for the year 2022 rankings of the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) constituted under the Union Ministry of Education have been released. In this, eight institutions of UP have got a place in the top-100 in the overall ranking of educational institutions. IIT Kanpur has got the fifth position, Lucknow’s King George Medical University has got 75th and Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University has got the 78th position.
Similarly, in the overall ranking of NIRF 2020, Banaras Hindu University (BHU) Varanasi has been ranked 11th, Aligarh Muslim University 19th, IIT BHU 29th, Amity University Noida 42nd and Shivnadar University Dadri 94th. No educational institution of higher education of the state government has even got a place in the top-100.
In the top-100 ranking of universities, BHU Varanasi has been ranked 6th, AMU Aligarh 11th, Amity University Noida 22nd, KGMU Lucknow 50th, BBAU Lucknow 55th and Shivnadar University Noida 61st.
In the ranking of engineering institutes, IIT Kanpur is ranked fourth, IIT BHU 13th, Amity University Noida 25th, AMU Aligarh 37th, Motilal Nehru Engineering College Prayagraj 47th, Indian Institute of Information Technology Prayagraj 93rd and Jaypee Institute of Information Technology Noida. Got 94th place.

KGMU in top-5 in dentistry
In the top-50 ranking of medical institutions, BHU Varanasi has been ranked fifth, SGPGI Lucknow seventh, KGMU Lucknow 11th and AMU Aligarh 22nd. In the top-50 ranking of dental institutions, KGMU has been ranked 5th, BHU Varanasi is 21st and AMU Aligarh has been ranked 38th. In the ranking of pharmacy institutes, Amity University Noida has been ranked 17th, National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research Rae Bareli 37th, Noida Pharmacy Institute 39th and Integral University Lucknow 48th.

Apart from this, IIT Kanpur 20th, Amity University Noida 28th, Institute of Management Technology Ghaziabad 44th, BHU Varanasi 50th, Jaipuria Institute of Management Noida 51st, Birla Institute of Management Technology Greater Noida 56th, AMU Aligarh 57th, Jaipuria Institute of Management Lucknow has been ranked 78th, BBAU Lucknow 87th, Dayalbagh Institute Agra 88th and Galgotias University Noida 93rd.
