UKSSSC Exam: 6 arrested for leaking graduate level recruitment exam paper

The six accused have been arrested and cash of Rs 37.10 lakh has been recovered from their possession.

UKSSSC Exam: The STF on Sunday disclosed the matter of leaking the Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission’s Graduate Level Recruitment Examination (VPDO) paper. The six accused have been arrested and cash of Rs 37.10 lakh has been recovered from their possession. This paper out was done through the firm providing the selection commission technical facilities. Among the accused, two youths themselves also took the test. He got 42nd and 53rd ranks. The Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission had conducted the graduate level recruitment exam on 4-5 December. This was the biggest examination of the commission for 854 posts. In which 1.60 lakh candidates sat. In this, 13 categories of posts of different departments are to be filled.

Case registered after complaint to CM
Some unemployed had complained to Chief Minister Pushkar Dhami raising the issue of rigging in the examination. After this, on Friday, Rajan Naithani, the commission’s secretary, lodged a case at Raipur police station, apprehension of the paper being leaked. On Sunday, DIG STF D Senthil Abudei and SSP STF Ajay Singh informed about the disclosure of the gang. The paper was leaked by Jaijit Das, an employee of RMS Technology Solutions, a technical firm affiliated to the commission, he said. Those arrested include the firm’s employees, coaching center operators and youths who took the exam.

The master mind of the paper leak came out in the commission itself

The master mind of the graduate level recruitment exam came out at the UKSSC Headquarters itself. The data entry operator of the agency dealing with the secret work related to the examination and the previously removed PRD employee had leaked 80 questions, making it available to the selected applicants. Apart from this, doubts are being raised on two more employees of the commission. The question is arising that, why the commission had made such loose arrangements for the confidential process like recruitment examination that, in due course, the employees leaked the paper.
