UP Admissions 2023: CUET-UG Counselling for AKTU admissions to begin on July 28

Under the direction of Vice-Chancellor Prof. JP Pandey, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University recently convened the Central Admission Committee for UP Degree College Admissions 2023. During the meeting, it was decided that the Central Universities Entrance Test (CUET) counselling process for admission to undergraduate courses will commence on July 28.

The CUET-UG counseling will cover admissions to a variety of undergraduate and integrated programmes, including B Arch, BHMCT, BFA, BFEd, BDes, B.Tech lateral, B Pharma lateral, MBA Integrated, and MCA Integrated. However, MBA and MCA admissions counseling will be conducted during the first week of August.

For the convenience of Kashmiri Migrant and NRI candidates, registration for counseling sessions will begin on July 28, followed by sessions on August 11 and 12. The BPharma counseling will occur in September 2023.

OBC and EWS candidates must attach a valid and current certificate in order to be eligible for counselling. In addition, the university began the registration process for BTech admissions on Monday, with four phases of counseling planned.

Notably, the university will also provide counseling for 12 state universities in Uttar Pradesh this year.

Special Secretary from the Government Annavi Dinesh Kumar, Registrar Mr JP Singh, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Manish Gaur, Principal of FOA Prof. Vandana Sehgal, Coordinator Prog Arun Kumar Tiwari, Deputy Registrar Dr RK Singh, Abhishek Nagar, and others were present at the meeting.
