UP Atal School Admission: Atal Residential Schools to start admissions; application form, eligibility criteria

UP Atal Residential School Admission 2023: In Uttar Pradesh, 1440 students will be admitted to Atal residential schools for the upcoming academic year. In each school, a total of 80 students will be admitted in two sections. Seven of the 18 Atal residential schools being constructed in the state are complete. If for some reason the remainder of the school could not be completed on time, the remaining students would be admitted to a nearby residential school. Regarding this, Chief Secretary Durga Shankar Mishra held a review meeting.

In the meeting, it was disclosed that the process of appointing a principal and staff would also commence shortly. Let us inform you that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath recently stated that the government has assumed responsibility for the construction of the Atal Residential School. In the initial phase, these schools will be constructed on 12 to 15 acres of land at 18 state commissionerate headquarters.

By June 2023, the admissions process will be completed.

Students will be chosen in accordance with the State Reservation Policy. In the initial years, the CBSE will select the students, but in later years, the Board Steering Committee will do so. Currently, the admission policy process has been completed. After receiving approval from the government, notification will be issued. Then, final admission will be determined through exam-based student counselling. By administering the examination in May 2023, it is likely that the admissions process will be finalised by June.
