UPSC CSE Mains Exam 2023 begins tomorrow; important exam day instructions here

Qualified candidates for the CSE Mains 2023 must bring their admit card and an authentic photo ID on the day of the examination.

UPSC CSE Mains Exam 2023: Beginning tomorrow, September 15, the Union Public Service Commission will administer the UPSC CSE Mains Exam 2023. Here, candidates for the Civil Services Examination (Mains) can find the link to their admit card and other important exam day instructions.

The UPSC Mains 2023 will be conducted on September 15, 16, 17, 23 and 24 in two shifts, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, as per the schedule. On May 28, 2023, the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination 2023 was administered. The outcome for the same was announced on 12 June 2023.

Qualified candidates for the CSE Mains 2023 must bring their admit card and an authentic photo ID on the day of the examination. Alternately, candidates can verify and download the admit card from the official website by following the steps below.

How do I acquire the UPSC CSE Mains Exam 2023 Admit Card?

  1. Visit the official website at upsc.gov.in in the first step.
  2. Click the link titled “e – Admit Card: Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2023” on the homepage.
  3. You will be redirected to a new page where you must input your login credentials, such as ‘Registration ID’ or ‘Roll Number’
  4. Your UPSC Mains 2023 admit card will appear on the screen.
  5. Download and print the admit card for the date of the examination.

Important Instructions

  • Candidates must arrive at the examination centre in plenty of time to prevent last-minute chaos.
  • No candidate is permitted to appear at a Centre/Venue other than the Centre/Venue specified in his/her e-Admit Card by the Commission. If a candidate appears at such a Centre/Venue (other than pursuant to a court order), his/her documents will not be evaluated and his/her candidature is subject to cancellation.
  • Candidates are advised not to bring any prohibited items, including mobile phones/Bluetooth devices, to the examination site.
  • Do not bring valuable/expensive items to the examination halls/UPSC premises, as their protection cannot be guaranteed. In this regard, the Commission will not be liable for any loss.
