UPSC ESE 2024 registration begins at upsc.gov.in; eligibility criteria, steps to download here

According to the schedule, the application period for ESE 2024 will be from September 6 to September 26.

UPSC ESE 2024 registration: Today, September 6, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) began accepting online applications for the Engineering Services Examination, UPSC ESE 2024. Check the eligibility requirements and enrol for the exam on the official website, upsc.gov.in, if you’re interested.

According to the schedule, the application period for ESE 2024 will be from September 6 to September 26. From September 27 to October 3, 2023, registered candidates will be able to make corrections to their applications. The 2024 ESE Preliminaries will be administered on February 18, 2024.

Age Limit

A candidate must be at least 21 years old and no elder than 30 years old as of January 1, 2024 to be eligible for this examination. In other terms, they must have been born between January 2, 1994 and January 1, 2003.

Age concessions are available to candidates from reserved categories.

Qualifications Criteria

The applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other Educational Institutions established by an Act of Parliament or deemed to be Universities under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956.

How do I submit an online application for the UPSC ESE 2024 registration?

  1. Navigate to the official UPSC website at upsc.gov.in.
  2. Navigate to the ‘Registration’ tab on the homepage.
  3. Now, click the link for the UPSC ESE 2023 application form.
  4. Register and complete the application form.
  5. Pay the application fee and submit the form as the fifth step.
  6. Download the form and print it out for future reference.

All applicants (with the exception of females, SC/ST/PwBD, and those with disabilities) must pay a Rs. 200 application fee.
