UPSC IAS Interview: Aspirants told not to do these two mistakes in UPSC civil services interview

Jitin Yadav, an IAS officer from the West Bengal cadre from the 2016 batch, has provided some advice to aspirants.

The interviews for the UPSC Civil Services Exam 2022 will begin on January 30. Interviewees learn about personality tests from experienced and successful UPSC candidates. Jitin Yadav, an IAS officer from the West Bengal cadre from the 2016 batch, has provided some advice to aspirants. He has stated that there should be no bluffing or show-off during the UPSC Civil Services Examination interview. Otherwise, you will be apprehended. Be as truthful as you can.

‘I realised during the mock interview yesterday that the candidates are not thoroughly preparing for DAF and Current Affairs, which is very important for a successful interview,’ he said in another tweet a few days ago. These two items are considered fundamental foundational knowledge for any interview.

Previously, he stated that a smart aspirant not only prepares well for the interview but also researches the background of the chairman and UPSC members. Following that, he tweeted information about the UPSC chairman and other members. Let us remind you that the UPSC is led by a chairman and has a maximum of ten members. Even after the appointment of Preeti Sudan in November, there are four vacancies on the Commission. Each member of the commission serves for six years or until he reaches the age of 65, whichever comes first.

Every year, the commission holds civil services examinations in three stages to select officers for the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), the Indian Foreign Service (IFS), and the Indian Police Service (IPS).
