UPSC IAS: Which candidate would have topped the interview in the last 10 years history of UPSC Civil Services Examination? Zainab Sayeed has scored the highest marks in the interview in the last 8 years of UPSC Civil Services Examination. Zainab Syed, an alumnus of Jamia Millia Islamia and a resident of Kolkata, had secured 107th rank in the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2014. Zainab had secured 731 marks in the written examination and 220 marks (out of 275) in the interview.

Since 2014, till date, no candidate has been able to secure the same number of marks as Zainab in the interview. In UPSC Civil Services Exam 2021, Ashutosh Kumar and Kiran PB had the highest 206-206 marks in the interview. Apala Mishra, who secured 9th rank in UPSC Civil Services Exam 2020, secured the highest 215 marks in the interview round. Shilpi, who got 256th rank in the year 2019, secured the highest 212 marks in the interview.

Zainab Syed, a resident of Chitpur, Kolkata, did this wonders in the UPSC exam, which was her third attempt.
