UPSESSB TGT PGT Exam Date 2022: Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Services Selection Board, Prayagraj has rubbished the reports claiming that TGT PGT Recruitment Exam 2022 will be conducted in two shifts on different dates of August. UPSESSB has issued a notice on its official website www.upsessb.org saying that the news published in a daily newspaper of Gourganj Amethi regarding the examination of TGT PGT in the month of August, which is also going viral on social media, is completely It is false and misleading.
The notice states, “Any information relating to the Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Service Selection Board can be obtained only on the official website of the Board.” All the concerned candidates are requested not to take cognizance of such fabricated and unreasonable news.
It is worth mentioning that Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Service Selection Board, Prayagraj had invited applications for the recruitment of Trained Graduates (TGTs) and Lecturers (PGTs) in aided secondary schools of the state in the month of June. Recruitment was done on 3539 posts of TGT and 624 posts of PGT. Now lakhs of candidates are waiting for the announcement of the exam date of this recruitment.
How to get selected for TGT post
For selection to the post of TGT Teacher, there will be a written test of subject based general aptitude for the candidates, consisting of a question paper of 500 marks. There will be a total of 125 questions in the question paper. Each question will be of 4 marks. The paper will be of 2 hours. All questions will be MCQ time. Four options will be given to answer each question. Merit will be issued for selection. Based on the performance in the written test, the UP Secondary Service Selection Board will prepare the merit. The selection board will prepare the panel list. After this, the allotment of the institution will be done to the selected candidates in the panel.
PGT Post Selection Process
On the basis of written test and interview. The written test will be of 425 marks. The interview will be of 50 marks. 25 marks will be given on the basis of doctorate degree, MEd degree, BEd, state team’s share in sports competition. Merit list for PGT cadre interview will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in written test. The panel will be prepared for selection to PGT cadre on the basis of aggregate of marks obtained in written test, interview, special qualifications as per the rules of the selection board. After that the allotment of the institution will be done.
