UPSSSC Group C Recruitment: A record-breaking 37.34 lakh youth have applied for the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) conducted before the recruitment to the Group āCā posts. The exam is proposed on 18th September 2022. In the year 2021, 20.73 lakhs had applied for PET.
Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission has made it mandatory to appear in PET for recruitment to Group āCā posts. According to the chairman of the commission, Praveer Kumar, the last date of application was 31 July. For this, while registering 4768872, 3734446 has deposited the fee. Form 3729037 has been submitted online. The number of applicants can go up to those who pay the fees. The commission has received Rs 60.22 crore as fee.
According to the chairman of the commission, in view of the applications that have come for the preliminary qualifying examination, this time extensive preparations will have to be made. The proposed date of examination has been announced. Further discussions regarding preparations will be held at the higher level in this regard. The exam will be conducted in two shifts. Elaborate arrangements will have to be made to prevent fraud. It will take at least five to six months to declare the result after the examination.
