UPSSSC PET 2022: Due to problem in Preliminary Examination Portal candidates could not submit application fee will last date increase again

UPSSSC PET: Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission has completed the application process of Preliminary Qualification Examination 2022 (PET-2022) from last date 31 July 2022. But there are many candidates who are unable to deposit the application fee on the last date due to the problem in the portal. In such a situation, the question is whether the last date of application can be extended again towards UPSSSC or will be given a chance to deposit the application fee?

It is noteworthy that Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) had released the notification of Preliminary Qualification Examination 2022 on 28 June 2022. With the release of the notification, online applications for PET were also started from June 28. The last date to apply online for UPSSSC PET was fixed as 27th July 2022 but thousands of candidates were unable to complete their application due to a problem in the application portal. In view of this problem of the candidates, the commission had extended the last date of application till 31 July 2022. But even on July 31, the application fee portal did not open, due to which many candidates could not deposit the application fee. In such a situation, the candidates who have missed the application are expected that the commission can extend the last date of application again. At the same time, amendments in the application can be done till August 3, 2022, as scheduled.

However, despite the release of the last date, today on August 1, no information has been issued by the commission so far.

40 lakh applications received till July 27:
The special thing is that despite the problem in the portal in the application, about 40 lakh registrations had been done till July 27. This is the largest record of applications received in any examination of UPSSSC. At the same time, by the last date July 31, further increase in the number of applications would have been registered. Last year around 26 lakh candidates had applied for UPSSSC PET.

According to the UPSSSC Recruitment Exam Calendar 2022, the Preliminary Eligibility Test 2022 (PET 2022) will be conducted on 18 September 2022.
In this, it will be necessary to have knowledge of English for recruitment to the posts of Group C.
The qualifying examination will be of 100 marks and two hours. There is a system of negative marking in it. Fourth mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
Main Examination, Skill Test or Physical Test will be conducted for the shortlisted candidates on the basis of PET score as per the specific requirements of various departments and the provisions of the Service Rules.
