WB SET 2023 registration window extended till Sept 03, apply now at wbcsconline.in

WB SET 2023 registration: The West Bengal College Service Commission has extended the registration deadline for the West Bengal State Eligibility Test, WB SET 2023, until September 3. Candidates can register for SET 2023 through the Commission’s official website, wbcsconline.in.

On August 1, 2023, the online application procedure for WB SET 2023 commenced. The original deadline for registering for the State Eligibility Test was August 31, but it has been extended to September 3, 2023. “The deadline for submitting ONLINE APPLICATIONS for the 25th SET has been extended to September 3, 2023 at 12:00 a.m.,” reads an official notice. From September 9 to 11, the application correction window for registered candidates will be open. The WB SET 2023 will be administered on December 17, 2023. The admission ticket will be distributed during the last week of November.

Eligibility Standards

Candidates must possess a Master’s degree or its equivalent from a UGC-recognized university or institute with a minimum grade of 55 percent. Those who are currently pursuing a Master’s degree or who have taken the qualifying examination but are awaiting the results are also eligible.

How do I enroll for the WB SET 2023 registration?

  1. Visit the official website at wbcsconline.in.
  2. On the homepage, select the “Apply for STATE ELIGIBILITY TEST” link.
  3. A new page will open; register and complete the application form.
  4. Upload required documentation and pay the application fee.
  5. Download the application form and print it out for future reference.

Exam Format

The WB TET 2023 will include two examinations:

Paper I will comprise of 50 mandatory objective-type questions, each worth 2 marks. The queries will be of a general nature and designed to assess the candidate’s teaching and research abilities.

Paper-III will consist of 100 mandatory objective-type questions, each worth 2 marks, based on the subject chosen by the candidate. All queries on the Paper II will be mandatory.
