Workshop on “Financial Education for Young Women” held at Department of Home Science (AMU)

Financial Education for Young Women: A three-day workshop on “Financial Education for Young Women” was organised by the Department of Home Science at Aligarh Muslim University in association with the National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM).

The goal of the workshop was to offer a thought-provoking session focused on awareness, practical knowledge, and risk avoidance with reference to financial investments and mutual funds.

As the main resource person, Dr. Akeelurrehman (NISM) led the workshop over the course of eight large sessions over three days.

AMU: Orientation programme held for new students

Dr. Saba Khan, Chairperson of the Department of Home Science, spoke during the opening session and emphasised the value of financial education while urging the audience to put the workshop’s lessons to practise.

The workshop’s main components were emphasised by Ms. Zeba, the programme coordinator. She also expressed gratitude.
