Dancing With the Stars Season 32: New Beginnings, New Hosts And New Celebs

On September 12, actor and country singer Jamie Lynn Spears verified her casting on Instagram.

Dancing With the Stars Season 32:  We already know that the upcoming season of “Dancing With the Stars” will be significantly different from the previous one.

While returning to its origins, the popular competition program is undergoing some interesting changes. As is customary, a new group of celebrities will don ballroom dance shoes and attempt to win our affections with their most innovative moves.

Here is everything we currently know about “Dancing With the Stars” season 32.

When Will Dancing With the Stars Season 32 Premiere?

ABC confirmed in July that “Dancing With the Stars” would return in the autumn for a new season. The entire ensemble was announced on “Good Morning America” on September 13, and according to Deadline, the new season will premiere on Tuesday, September 26.

According to Deadline, “DWTS” was scheduled to premiere on Monday but was pushed back due to the ongoing WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes.

Where Can You Watch Season 32 of ‘Dancing With the Stars’?

Season 32 of “Dancing With the Stars” will return to ABC after season 31 was exclusive to Disney+. The program will also be live-streamed on Disney+ and will be available the following day on Hulu.

Alisa Bowen, the president of Disney+, told Deadline that the competition program on the streaming service was a chance to introduce it to a “new generation of fans,” but that all generations can now watch it on their preferred platform.

Who Will Host Season 32?

Tyra Banks announced in March 2023 to TMZ that she was quitting “Dancing With the Stars” after three seasons as host.

“It’s time for me to focus on my business and entrepreneurship, I believe. In addition, she will produce more television behind the scenes, she explained. “I think it’s time to graduate from the dance floor to the stock market floor.”

Banks continued by stating that she desired to be producing content rather than “just hosting” events.

Three days after Banks’ announcement, Variety reported that former “DWTS” professional dancer and guest judge Julianne Hough would join “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” actor Alfonso Ribeiro as cohost of the show.

In season 31 of “Dancing with the Stars,” Ribeiro joins Banks as cohost, interviewing couples in the Sky Box following their performances. He will assume the role of host for Season 32, while Hough will take over the Sky Box.

Who Are the Season 32 Judges?

Former “Dancing With the Stars” chief judge Len Goodman passed away in April 2023. Prior to his death, he announced his retirement from the program during Season 31. The return of Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough, and Bruno Tonioli to the judging panel for season 32 was announced by Variety in March.

Ariana Madix of “Vanderpump Rules” announced in an Instagram video with Derek Hough her intention to perform in July. This year, Madix rose to prominence following her involvement in a high-profile infidelity scandal involving her ex-partner and co-star Tom Sandoval and their mutual friend Rachel “Raquel” Leviss.

Then, in August, on the “After The Final Rose” finale special that concluded her love quest, “Bachelorette” star Charity Lawson revealed that she will also be joining the cast of “DWTS” season 32 in the fall. Lawson is the most recent “Bachelorette” star to compete on “DWTS,” following in the footsteps of Gabby Windey, Kaitlyn Bristowe, Hannah Brown, and Trista Sutter.

On September 12, actor and country singer Jamie Lynn Spears verified her casting on Instagram. She was also the first celebrity to disclose her dance partner, Alan Bersten. (Bersten previously won season 28 of “Dancing With the Stars” with ex-“Bachelorette” star Hannah Brown as his celebrity companion.)

Spears announced the donation on “Good Morning America,” stating that she will contribute her weekly salary to SAG-AFTRA and the WGA. The complete roster of “Dancing With the Stars” season 32 was revealed on “Good Morning America” on September 13.
