The release date for Diablo 4 is June 6, 2023. The announcement was made in conjunction with The Game Awards 2022, where Blizzard also revealed a new cinematic trailer. Diablo 4’s June release date has been confirmed after years of speculation and anticipation, following its announcement at BlizzCon 2019.

Unlocking Diablo 4 and Early Access

Blizzard has already verified the launch dates for Diablo 4, as well as early Sanctuary access for those who purchase the Deluxe or Ultimate Edition of the game.

The Diablo 4 unlock time and early access period for pre-orders is as follows: Thursday, June 1 at 6:00 p.m. PDT / Friday, June 2 at 12:00 a.m. BST / Saturday, June 2 at 8:00 p.m.

If you have not pre-ordered Diablo 4, the game will be released on June 5 at 4 pm PST, June 6 at 12 am BST, and June 6 at 8 am KST.

Confirmed platforms for Diablo 4

Diablo 4 will launch simultaneously for PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. Given that crossplay multiplayer has been an objective of Blizzard’s since the beginning of development, it is encouraging to learn that the impending action-RPG will be available on all platforms beginning June 6, 2023.

Diablo 4 will not be added to Game Pass.

There are “no plans” for the release of a Diablo 4 Game Pass, according to Blizzard. Considering that the Xbox Activision Blizzard agreement is still active, it is unlikely that this will alter in the near future. If the acquisition were to close this summer, there is a high possibility that Diablo 4 would soon be added to the Xbox Game Pass library.

The collector’s edition of Diablo 4 is now available.

The pre-order for the Diablo 4 Collector’s Edition went live in December 2022, and despite its exorbitant $96.66 price tag, it does not include a copy of the game. Additionally, Blizzard has opened pre-orders for the Standard Edition, Digital Deluxe Edition, and Ultimate Edition of Diablo 4.

Diablo 4 Preload Process

Diablo 4 preload is currently available. The preload for early access is available for PC, PlayStation, and Xbox.

1) Launch the Battle.net client application.
2) Diablo 4 can be added to the All Games page.
3) Once at Diablo 4, choose the game’s version, and the game will install; then, click “Pay” to initiate the game.
4)On PlayStation and Xbox, launch the console store and choose the download option.
