The plot of I’m Not a Robot Season 2

Hwang Yeo-Chul and his father, Hwang Do-Won, endeavour to transfer the Santa Maria conglomerate to the Bold Group. To discourage Kim Min-kyu from selling, Baek-gyun demonstrates the automaton to him. Shortly before the delivery of the automaton Aji 3, it malfunctions. Baek-gyun enlists Ji-ah to pose as the robot in order to purchase time for the team to repair Aji 3. Ji-ah reluctantly agrees to impersonate the automaton under the supervision of the Santa Maria team for 10 million won.

Gradually, Min-kyu’s conviction that Ji-ah is Aji 3 intensifies his emotions for her. However, he becomes distressed upon realising that she is solely a robot. As a result, he “reboots” the automaton, erasing its memories. Consequently, Baek-gyun substitutes the actual Aji 3 for Ji-ah. Ji-ah, who has also fallen in love with Min-kyu, flees the city to evade her feelings for him.

Min-kyu discovers Ji-ah’s deception and the true nature of Aji 3, precipitating a nearly fatal anaphylactic reaction. Baek-gyun steps in to save Min-kyu. Due to their betrayal and manipulation of his emotions, Min-kyu, filled with rage, severs all connections and relationships with them. Ji-ah tells Min-kyu everything, expressing her affection for him. They rediscover their love, this time as individuals.

Prior to the relaunch, Aji 3 had concealed trial-related video footage and data pertaining to Kim Min-kyu. Unfortunately, this cache is compromised, revealing Min-kyu’s condition. In the sliver of time, Min-kyu is able to foil the attempt. Eventually, evidence arises connecting Hwang Do-won and Martin to Chairman Park’s murder.
