Kriti Sanon’s mother posts cryptic message amid Adipurush backlash

Om Raut's Adipurush, a dramatic adaptation of the Ramayana, has been under constant scrutiny since its debut.

Following Kriti Sanon’s decision to concentrate on the “cheers, claps” regardless of criticism, her mother Geeta Sanon posted a cryptic Instagram message. Om Raut’s Adipurush, a dramatic adaptation of the Ramayana, has been under constant scrutiny since its debut.

Geeta wrote a doha on Instagram, “Jaki rahi bhavna jaisi prabhu murat dekhi tin taisi.” She went on to clarify it in Hindi, saying, “This means that if you view something with a positive mentality and perspective, the world will view it in an attractive manner. Lord Ram taught people to focus on the affection in the fruit offered to him by Shabari, rather than the fact that it was partially consumed. One should not focus on a person’s errors, but rather their emotions.”

Kriti, who portrayed Sita in the mythological drama, posted videos of audience applause on Instagram on Monday. In one of the segments, you might hear moviegoers singing “Ram Siya Ram.” “Focusing on the applause and applause! Jai Siya Ram,” she captioned the photo.

Following the ‘Adipurush’ controversy, the mayor of Kathmandu, Balendra Shah, banned Indian films.

Within an hour of the decision by the mayor of KMC, the mayor of Pokhara, Dhanraj Acharya, sent letters to three movie theatres requesting that all Indian films be halted.

The creators of Adipurush then submitted a written apology to Shah and requested that he reconsider his decision.

Numerous individuals, including critics and reviewers, have expressed dissatisfaction with Manoj Muntashir’s dialogues for the film. Among them are’marega bete’, ‘bua ka bagicha hain kya’, and ‘jalegi tere baap ki’. As previously indicated, certain lines in the film were altered by the filmmakers.

Adipurush, which was released on June 16 in Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Tamil throughout the country, stars Prabhas as Raghav (Lord Ram), Kriti Sanon as Janaki (Sita), and Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh (Ravan).
