Luke Combs Concert: Country aficionados will need to begin preparations for 2024. Tuesday, Luke Combs announced plans for the Growin’ Up and Getting Old Tour. The series of North American tour dates consists of 25 performances in 13 U.S. cities and one in Canada.
The 33-year-old country music superstar will begin the upcoming tour in Milwaukee in April 2024 and conclude in Houston in mid-August.
Every U.S. city stop except one will feature two performances — one on Friday night and one on Saturday — and the set list will vary dependent on the date. (Only one concert will be held in University Park, Pennsylvania, and Craven, Canada, during his tour visits there.)
Each night, the “Fast Car” cover artist will be accompanied by a handful of special guests. Cody Jinks, The Avett Brothers, Charles Wesley Godwin, Hailey Whitters, and The Wilder Blue will perform on Fridays, and Jordan Davis, Mitchell Tenpenny, Drew Parker, and Colby Acuff will join him on Saturdays.
In a press release, the “Hurricane” artist expressed his enthusiasm for touring. “We were able to perform two shows in some U.S. markets on the World Tour, but when I learned that we would be able to perform two shows in the majority of cities on the 2024 tour, I decided that I wanted each show to have its own unique openers and repertoire. “I figured this would allow people to attend both nights if they wish, but to see two completely different performances,” he said.
The CMA Award winner continued, “With country music being such a broad genre, and being a huge fan of it all myself, I wanted to open up my stage on Friday nights to acts that lean towards Outlaw, Americana, and Red Dirt, as well as having a night with people I’ve toured with in the past who are more contemporary country. I’m thrilled that both parties will be joining me on the road for the Growin’ Up and Getting Old Tour!”
