The official synopsis of Poacher:

“Upon forsaking into a Forest Department outpost, a man overcome with remorse confesses to having murdered elephants.” During his admission, he reveals illicit poaching operations and the deceit perpetrated by wildlife protection officials. In their pursuit of justice, a dispersed group of officers, NGO employees, and volunteers pursue leads and unravel strands. They face precarious situations as they dismantle a nefarious plot, which at times looks impregnable.
