Review of Silo Season 1 Episode 10

After seeing the movie of the real world, Juliette knows that everyone needs to know the truth. Juliette says that the video should be hooked up to all of the computers in the Silo. Patrick and Danny go with her to the closest hub so she can carry out her plan.

But Sims and Bernard are not too far behind. They know where the drive is and send robbers to Patrick’s house to get it. The three fugitives hide in the trash chutes, which go from one floor to the next. The raiders are after them.

Sims asks Paul about Juliette’s secrets while they are running away to find out what he knows. Paul lies when he says there was nothing at her apartment. Sims starts to get angry and hostile, which makes Paul’s shivers worse. Paul has the Syndrome, which Sims now knows.

Then Juliette runs away and goes back down the trash slide. When Bernard finds out about her plan, he sends the cops to catch her. It is told to them to hit Juliette with trash. A big thing throws Juliette off the slide, and she has to fall back down it to avoid being crushed.

She awakens in a machine. But Knox betrays her to Judicial, and they quickly arrive to arrest her. Juliette scared Sims’s son and made threats against his family, so Sims wants to hurt her. But Bernard stops him.

In front of Juliette, Bernard breaks the hard drive. He tells her to clean up outside. Juliette agrees as long as she knows the whole story about how George died.

Martha decides to do everything she can to help her friend Juliette while she is being held back. In the twenty-five years she has lived there, this is the first time she has left her house outside of emergencies. Martha wants to know why the heat tape is so important.

Holston thanks Juliette for her last request by giving her his sheriff’s badge. To protect herself from the dangerous air outside, Juliette is wearing a special suit that is taped shut with thermal tape. A group of people gather to watch Juliette go do her cleaning.

While Bernard reads the formal address, Juliette goes up the stairs to the top floor. It was the same beautiful setting that she saw when she went outside as Allison and Holston. It’s a fake screen. Juliette doesn’t want to clean the sensor on the silo as she walks up the hill.

How Season 1 of Silo Ends

Juliette trips and falls. She finds out that the beautiful setting is actually just a computer recreation. Setting the sheriff’s badge on the image makes it fall through to the ground below. While her attention is on the heat tape, she tells herself over and over what Martha said. She is now sure that the movie is meant to keep her safe and is actually very important.

As he watches Juliette, Bernard worries that she has found out about their lies. He runs into the server room and changes the settings. Juliette’s viewpoint returns to the barren wasteland. This is not a nightmare; this is real life. As she climbs the hill, Juliette observes the surrounding wilderness.
