Stray Children’s Release Date: The developer of Super Mario RPG, Onion Games, has unveiled a new game titled Stray Children. It is a unique type of narrative game known as a “bittersweet fairytale RPG.”

Fans of the company will be able to play it before the end of the year, but if you’re not in Japan, you’ll have to wait a little longer for the international release date.

What Does Stray Children Entail?

It appears to be an attempt to replicate the vibe of classic role-playing games. It will contain a story with intriguing characters, various settings, and some valuable teachings.

The plot is currently a bit of a secret, but it appears that it will lead you on a grand expedition in a world where only children exist. The majority of the game appears to be about a young child growing up and overcoming numerous obstacles.

Currently, Stray Children will only be available on the Nintendo Switch in Japan. However, they intend to introduce it to other locations in the future. We simply do not know when exactly this will occur.

Stray Children’ Plot

The plot of Stray Children begins with a young boy being sucked into a television and finding himself in a world populated by only children. This enigmatic location marks the beginning of your voyage.

We don’t know exactly where you’re going, but it appears you’ll encounter many intriguing characters and obstacles along the way.

Stray Children’Gameplay

We have seen images of the game, but they do not reveal much about its gameplay. What we do know is that it will be a classic RPG, which could involve a great deal of dialogue, exploration, world-building, and storytelling.

The “strange and dangerous wonderland” they refer to is the most intriguing aspect. Even though they haven’t adequately explained it, it sounds like the game may involve combat, exploration, and leaping.

However, we are not yet certain. We anticipate that Onion Games will reveal additional information in the future months. If not, we can at least anticipate experiencing the Japanese version.

Stray Children’s Release Date

Stray Children will be released in Japan first, followed by the rest of the globe at a later date that has not been specified.

It should be available on the Nintendo Switch in Japan during the winter, between December 2023 and February 2024. However, we do not know when it will be released globally.

There will be only one version of the game when it is released, and it will be available as a tangible copy (a game card) or as a digital download from the Nintendo eShop. Currently, you cannot pre-order it, but they may provide more information in the coming weeks.
