The second part, which is set to air on December 14, 2023, will focus on the wedding of Camilla Parker Bowles (Olivia Williams) and Prince Charles (Dominic West), as well as the first meeting between Prince William (Ed McVey) and Kate Middleton (Meg Bellamy) at university.

Plot

Dominic West told Deadline that the next season “will be as rough as it gets” following an early table read in August 2022. The main reason for this is that the show has finally shown how Princess Diana died so tragically in 1997.

West told the magazine, “It’s a hell of a season because it deals with Diana’s death and sad scenes like having to tell your sons that kind of news.”
