What’s Taylor Swift’s Literature Course All About: The American singer Taylor Swift, who is extremely popular, has been featured prominently in recent articles. Her massive concert tour titled “The Eras” and the reissue of one of her albums have kept her name in the public eye for quite some time. She is constantly the centre of interest.

Well, here’s the rub. Belgian Swifties (Taylor Swift fans from Belgium) are over the moon with joy. The reason is because people not only get to enjoy her fantastic music but also gain insight into who she is as an individual.

Ghent University in Belgium is now offering a course specifically dedicated to teaching students about Taylor Swift’s music and literature. That’s really awesome!

What’s Taylor Swift’s Literature Course All About?

The autumn term of “Literature: Taylor’s Version” will begin soon. It’s an elective course where students analyse the writing styles of classic authors through the perspective of contemporary American pop artists like Taylor Swift.

This is only the second university in the world, after Stanford, to offer a course centred around Taylor Swift’s music. You can take this course towards your Master’s degree. Elly McCausland, a British educator, will be leading the course.

She claims it will demonstrate the vitality and excitement of traditional English literature. She also stresses the significance of researching popular female celebrities of today.

Taylor Swift has been known to draw inspiration from classic literature. This class will shed light on the relationship between her music and the classic literature that inspired it.

The first course of this kind was taught on Taylor Swift in 2022 at New York University, and this year another university called Stanford taught a course concerning her songs.
