All India Fire Sub Officers exam 2019: How to apply online

Candidates should note that course is of 33 weeks. It would consist 21 weeks at Regional Training Centre and 12 weeks of field or practical experience.

While the admit card is expected to release by the first week of October 2019, a candidate need to have a Bachelor’s degree in any branch of Engineering recognized by A.I.C.T.E. or Board of Technical Education. He must be able to read, write, speak both in Hindi and English. Candidates should have passed the qualifying examination as on or before 31st August 2019. The upper age limit is 25 years and it is relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for the OBC category candidates.

NATIONAL FIRE SERVICE COLLEGE, NAGPUR

The idea of opening a Training College for Fire Service personnel of the country was conceived in the Expert Committee Meeting held in 1950 and the National Fire service college was established in 1956 at Rampur, U.P., and was later shifted to the present location viz., Nagpur, considering the Geographical and climatic advantage the city has. The college is housed at the Old Settlement Commissionate Building, altered the premises to the adequacy of a fire service Training Center, with sufficient space for conducting Fire Drills, and Demonstrations. The National Fire Service College , Nagpur functions under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, New Delhi.

Being a residential college, National Fire Service College, has its own hostel facilities with well furnished accommodation about 200 trainees at a time. which began its activities with only one course, later, considering the needs of the country, industrialization and growth of Indian Industry, had added many more courses to its curriculum to give the fire training a professional outlook.

The college awards Certificate , Diploma, Advanced Diploma on successful completion of the course, which are recognized by the State and Central Government as well as the Public sector undertaking and the Business Community as well. In addition, the Diploma and Advanced Diploma of National Fire Service College is also recognized by the Union Public Service Commission for appointment in the middle management cadre.
