CLAT 2020 Postponed Again; Check Details Here

The Executive Committee of the Consortium of National Law Universities met on the 27th August 2020 to review the precautionary measures taken in the context of the COVID 19 pandemic and the resulting situation in various states of the country.

CLAT 2020 Postponed Again Update: The Consortium of National Law Universities has gain postponed the CLAT 2020 Law Entrance Exam in the wake of COVID-19 pandemic.

While the CLAT 2020 Law Entrance Exam was earlier scheduled to be held on September 7, 2020, it has now been postponed and will be held on September 28, 2020.

The consortium has released a detailed revised notification that provides all the necessary details about the postponement.

CLAT 2020: Here is what notification says

The Executive Committee of the Consortium of National Law Universities met on the 27th August 2020 to review the precautionary measures taken in the context of the COVID 19 pandemic and the resulting situation in various states of the country.

At this meeting, the Executive Committee assessed the prevailing lockdown situation in various parts of the country and in particular, took into consideration the lockdown announced in the state of West Bengal for the 7th September, and the continued lockdown in the state of Bihar until the 6 th September. On this basis, the Consortium has taken the following decision:

The CLAT 2020 examination for both UG and PG candidates scheduled for 7th September, 2020 has been postponed to Monday, the 28th September, 2020 from 2 to 4 PM.

Further instructions as necessary shall be issued in due course. The candidates and their parents/ guardians are advised to keep visiting consortiumofnlus.ac.in website for the latest updates.
